So I read this earlier, but didn't have time to leave a comment until now, so hopefully I remember all the details I wanted to comment on...

The very beginning scene with Rosa and Salvadore was really cute. And I take it Rosa is going to very much a girly girl, albeit very shy.

I like how you wrote in the lost baby due to the glitch thing. I feel really bad for Amber, and now I'm curious as to how her over protectiveness will affect Mo and possibly any other children she has.

And oh man, Tamara's dream! "We're going to have kittens!" But now I'm worried about her, bad cliffhanger, BAD!!!

She is, although due to the mixture of her stats, hobby and pre rolled aspiration she is going to be a difficult if somewhat conflicting character to write. So she may or may not stay girly. I should give more face time to her sister, but Rosa is more interesting.

55, but yes I'm just going with what the game has thrown at me here. Although I will admit he was better behaved when I played the house yesterday so maybe it's something that may come and go for awhile yet.

I'm glad everyone is liking her inclusion in the story.

I had a lot of fun with that scene. Don't worry I won't or shouldn't have a huge gap before updating again. I really want to play the house to see what Tamara has, but I can't play ahead so if I play I have to shoot and write at the same time, so I've already started on the next update.

This was me when I saw there was an update: I read this chapter this morning, but then I had to go to work and couldn't comment. (mutters) Stupid work -- expecting me to show up on time just because they pay me...

This was me most of the time when I was reading the story: Rosa hiding under her crib was so funny, but well done to Papa (sorry, this keyboard doesn't do accents) for coaxing her out. And at the bartender -- it sounds like he really deserved it.

This was me when I saw Brandon: Even being given a makeover, he still has a geeky haircut. It just fits him, doesn't it? I hope he and Lottie are very happy.

This was me during the nightmare scene: It worked very much like real dreams -- nicely done!

This was me when Tamara went into labor early: I'm sort of worried and sort of not. I mean, of course it's a frightening situation, especially for Tamara. But on the other hand, I was a preemie and I'm fine -- and another preemie of my acquaintance grew up to be in the Marines! If the family can just get through the next little bit, it will be okay. Speaking of which...

This was me when reading about Amber and Chiara: I remember how upset you were when it happened. I wish you didn't have the experience to draw on, but you handled a sad and difficult theme very well. Amber really needs to get help, though. Her overprotectiveness of Mo is not good.

The dream/nightmare was a fun scene to write. I was worried afterwoulds that maybe I should have put up a warning about 'childbirth poses' but no one seems to have minded those. *phew* Julien Cooke gave me some great faces for that.

Likewise with Amber's baby, no one seems to be offended, or maybe offended people don't leave comments. If I hadn't had personal experience of losing a baby I wouldn't have touched the topic at all, because I am putting some of my own feelings into parts of this. Something I normally try hard not to do with sim characters. Amber is just a bit more over protective then I am though.

Loved the animations for Rosa hiding under the crib and Sal looking for her, so very sweet and it got across her personality so well. She grew up pretty, but still obviously a Mobacy; what more could you want? And the birthday presents look amazing, that's a gorgeous castle, and the idea was brilliant, even fitting in Luigi's problems with the money box, it was all brilliance.

Aw, Amber and Tony. So glad you included it, it was beautifully written and really got my sympathies going for them. Yay for Mo being happy and healthy, but I hope Amber is able to loosen up and stay calm as he grows; Alisa did wonderfully with her, and if she persists, it just might work. The pram is gorgeous by the way, I pointed out all the props in that park scene to my boyfriend, it looked amazing!

Such a perfect wedding for Lottie and Brandon, and I laughed at Luigi's comments, he must be the father-in-law from hell! He probably did have a Tommy gun in the car, just in case. And he proved it with that bartender, playing with his toys indeed!

Tamara's nightmare was scary and hilarious at the same time, the mad doctor and the teddy bears and the 'we're having kittens' line, oh so funny! But I hope she's ok. Early labour must be a scary thing, but at least Sal is with her. Can't wait to see what happens though, what a cliffhanger! Here's hoping Tamara's ok and healthy.....and that it's a boy.

Also, 8 exits without saving for Nic to get a boy! Blimey, there's a trend this generation! He is very cute though, and I love the Nic hair on him.

So glad you liked the opening Poor little Rosa did have a fear of a party rolled, so under the cot seemed the spot where a shy toddler might hide. Haha yes, the family likeness lives on. I think the castle may be a TS3 conversion, I love it! Poor Luigi, I'm wondering if I should have written in the senility, but he did a lot of annoying strange things over the last chapter. Of course this time he did nothing much at all! I guess it's in remition for the moment.

Aww thank you, I am trying to include some more description and seriousness to the story, although I still want plenty of light hearted fun. I had to include baby Chiara, but really glad it came cross well and no one seems offended by it. Losing her has given Amber some issues. I loved the park set up. Took a few OMPS's to get it just how I liked and yah for the wonderful cc makers who made it possible. I love the pram too. I'll be putting some picspam and behind the scene pictures today. I hope my inclusion of the fairies and bee was okay there? No one mentioned them. Half way through I realized while most of the hood was in spring the park was still in winter, so I used simwardrobes season setter to make it spring.

Lol, yes I wouldn't want him for a father-in-law either. No doubt he would keep a gun or two in the car, although both body guards are there, one can be seen in the reception montage. Silly really as it gave me another two sims to control! Having the toddlers there gave me some trouble, but they were adorable and well worth it.

Tamara's dream scene was the most fun to write, I was wondering at what point people would realize it was a dream. I figured that would be a good point to end on, but I won't keep you all hanging too long (like that phone) I've already set to work on the next chapter. Tamara had the for real baby last night when I played so I now know exactly what I got!

hah! I think you are the only one to comment on that. I was going That makes a personal record for the highest number of girls in a row! Now I'm giving Alisa another little ones just so she can have a girl (silly me should have made sure number 3 was a girl) So let’s hope she doesn't have the reverse problem.

You are awesome at writing children and little slices of life (my kind of story!).

Rosa has to be one of my favorite kids ever, and I just loved her with her little sister and the whole first day of school bit. That is such a scary and exciting time of a child's life, and she did so well not only without her parents, but despite Alice and Miss Trotter. I just wanted to reach in and give her a hug and tell her how proud I was of her.

Ari's birthday party was great too! Adriano is adorable.

I also loved the scene with Bernardo and his parents. Ray-Ray's expressions were perfect, and Vicent's "Don't you ever diss the nose son" and the whole Order of the Bees thing cracked me up!

All that made the twistedness (new word) of Angel <cackle> and Ashley's scene at the end quite shocking and all the more funny.

Yay, healthy twin boys for Salvatore and Tamara! Love their names. Can't help but wonder how will the Heirship Challenge turn out this generation...the brothers had never been twins before. Interesting.
They do need to start keeping an eye on Luigi at all times, though...he's really going downhill, poor man. Gotta feel bad for Samantha Ottomas, Luigi was the one in the wrong here - breast milk kept in the maternity ward is to be expected.
Rosa is so adorable, looking after her little sister at all times. And how cute to see her that fascinated by her new brothers. I hope she doesn't end up running into any problems at school though, that blonde girl seems to be a real troublemaker. Ariana is also a very cute child - and wow, that is one fantastic birthday present. Lucky Mobacy kids. It will make for weeks of fun with all the cousins, I can tell.
Haha, Bernardo's mom putting an ad up for him... XD Poor guy, he just can't get any luck, can he? Wonder if anyone will reply, after all his parents are still lacking in the grandchild department, as you said. (His older brother is married, though, isn't he? No kids for him and his wife yet?)
Some cute children you have this generation (and congratulations for Alisa for having a little girl in addition to her 3 boys now). Still any more to come, or are 12(?) enough for you this generation?

*ahem* Wow, the CC in your intensive care unit looks great. The incubators and babies lying there, it all looks brilliant, and even tags on the babies feet, so perfect! All the detail about the premature ageing and sizes was really interesting, and made so much sense once the boys were fully grown. Love the names too, very cute!

Oh, Luigi. Breast milk coffee, oh dear! At least Salvatore found him before he got even more mad at Samantha Ottomas!

Great to see things from Rosa's perspective, especially her being there for Ari and coping with Alice and her short temper. The school looks wonderful, and I love all the teachers.

Haha, brilliant idea with RayRay trying to help Berni to get a girlfriend. And the monk thing didn't last too long, he'll have women turning up on his doorstep soon!

Ari grew up really pretty, and the climbing frame looks great. Nice to see the girls bonding already.

Thank you My love of sim babies/toddlers/kids probably shows. The younger stages are my favourites. Kids come easily, I just use my own kids, friends kids and my own memories for them. Being a shy kid myself I know just how Rosa felt starting school!

Rosa is my favourite and not just for being first born. She is a rather complex character given her stats, hobby and aspiration. I think she will be interesting to write as she gets older, if I can pull it off. Hopefully I can give Ari and the twins some equal air time. One of those twins will be heir after all.

Adriano, definitely another favourite and very similar to Rosa as a child. Both are shy and into tinkering.

Hehe, good it was meant to be funny. I've been wanting to get to Berni's little plot arc for some time. Things will turn around for the poor chap soon. Any girl he really likes (as in has bolts for) he argues with, although girls he doesn't like such as the gardener he can talk up a storm to. He's also now lost two bachelorette challenges so he really does need some help.

A death is a fitting end after all that sweetness. Ah but that was plan B and she really was doing it for his own good as you will see.

I was so happy when Tamara had those boys! Given how nice they are (Gen four main house is chockers with nice points!) I'm sure it will be a fair and nicely done challenge! I think gen four main house has something like 37 nice points between those 4 kids.

I'm afraid Luigi's judgment wasn't what it once was. Samantha has had a lot of bad tossed her way which wasn't really her fault. Lol, at least the patch fixed up her twins, but rumours die hard.

I think so far you are the only person to pick up on the blond girl not being so nice. She is Simone Landgraab, younger sister to the boy with black hair...whose name I forgot. She got rather more of those Landgraab features then her brother did.

Berni's luck is about to change. Although whether it is the ad or something else remains to be seen. The older brother has a fiancée, but they refuse to roll up a get married want and I've decided as him and Berni are clones and Berni is way more interesting a character not to give his older brother any kids. My estimate of 12 has already been blown out, and Berni hasn't even had any kids yet!

Alisa originally had the 6 kid want, but when she move home from college it rolled to 3 graduating so I had only planned on giving her three. I should have exited on her third to make sure it was a girl, but forgot to. Alisa just seemed too girly not to have a daughter so I let her have the forth. She had Francesca on the first go. Left to them they would have 10 kids no doubt.

Yes!! I was thrilled she had both those boys in one go. I kept it under wraps that she was having twins. Not so thrilled with the nice points, but oh well! It means I changed my plot plans for them, but hopefully the new direction will work.

Thanks, most of that is made by Theraven over on Moonlightdragon. She has an extensive array of deco babies. The tiny girl is her '24' week size, while the boys are her '28' week size. The pale boy is full term size. She makes them in various poses as well you can click on each baby and choose, tubes, no tubes, skin colour and the coloured hats. The skin colours aren’t quite true I actually used gimp to make Romero slightly paler.

Yeah that is my take on sim pregnancy, after all they pack into 3 days what normally takes 9 months.

Poor Luigi! He should read the label shouldn't he? Of course he should also know you don't walk into the kitchen of a maternity unit and help yourself... but his judgment is somewhat lacking these days.

You’re the first to mention Alice’s' short temper- Yes she does. I decided a cranky sarcastic servo is just what they need to level out those nice points.

I was really happy to finally be able to use the school. It's the same one I had the simselves at although I've tweaked it a little.

I was excited to finally get Berni's little plot arc going too. I've been waiting for a chance to get on with both.

That play tower is a TS3 converted object. It looks great in game.

Angel was actually doing that for Ashley's own good. It was plan B, her last option. If things work like she hopes we shall soon see a new Ashley, and not a zombie one. Of course Ashley being Ashley, is being difficult over the whole thing. Of course I think most people would be when plan B is death. Although Angel threatening to kill him is rather ineffectual seeing he's already dead!

So how many kids do you have so far this generation? I had the idea that there were 12, but I might have forgotten some. Do you count Chiara among this generation's kids, even though she has passed? (That might be what is throwing me off.)

Well, no matter what surprises are in store for Berni in future chapters, at least you can know that in my game, I plan on giving him and future wife Naomi (Rodiek) two children. That should make them happy. More than two...only if the second pregnancy results on twins, or I change my mind about population control. (It's usually not very effective, I always end up being a softie and letting my sims have most of their ACR babies. XD).
I'll give their kids Italian names, too, there aren't any sims with those in the neighbourhood (well, there was gen C spare Chiara, but she was killed by Bellatrix back during the gen H/I plot. ), so it makes for some variation. Plus, they'll keep his name. That is also one of the reasons I need my computer back, I need to get some gen O kids born and then flood my LJ with picspam.

Well, they delayed my mother's labor for three days with me. Of course, she had to be drunk for a significant part of that time. (She says the episode of Laugh In she saw during that time was the funniest thing she's ever seen.)

I don't think knowledge would go with Rosa's aspiration. He knows how to study because he's a year older than his sister. I did think about him as a future boyfriend for Rosa though. So far for Rosa being so shy she gets along well with everybody. Guess that's the 10 nice points.

I'm not counting Chiara. So far main house has 4, Alisa has 4, Lottie has 1, Tony has 1 and Nic has 2. (12) Berni is yet to marry and will be having 2 or 3 I guess.

ermm... is that their last name? I think you are right! I just remember her as Faith. Here's is a clue, she is in the chapter as not one but two of the nurses! She had a major makeover to play the other one. (Last chapter Wanda Tinker played the receptionist in Tamara's dream and Julian Cooke played the wacko Dr while Mary Gavican?sp played the nurse.) This time I used 4 Maxis playables. Seeing you're the only one to even take a guess you will probably win the prize.

Lol, Samantha is playing herself, that doesn't count! No into little bottles with labels on them. When I was in hospital after having my son we used small baby bottles that screwed onto the electric pump. Luigi should wear his glasses, or you know, just not make cups of coffee in the maternity wing kitchen.
But I'm sure you can also get bags from the nursing mothers association. I think those are for when you want to freeze the milk.

I didn't read all the ads, but I changed a few. There is apart from Berni's and the hot Norwegian personal ad, an add from Angel, (did you notice?) One for a local nursery just to say it is spring, as well as one for the school.

Heh, even Angel can't kill off a dead man, but she would like too! That was plan B, I don't know if I was too clear on that, it was mentioned last chapter as Ashley's last chance to be cured, so it really is for his own good. But now he is being difficult just to annoy her.

The texture on that cake reminds me of sand stone, but the sims seem to enjoy it.
