The Wrongway Legacy: *on hiatus*

For regular legacy stories... a sim, an empty lot and the future ahead of them.

Apparently I missed the last update... Image Thanks for the recap to catch that. So...

Last chapter:

Spoiler:
Good to see Maddie using her martial arts skills for good rather than evil. Image I recognize a few of those kids too, but not all of them. Are they all premades?

Well Sharon's a bit of a hypocrite...

Nice job on the dialogue between John and Maddie there.Image

Hmm, John didn't wait too long to tell Maddie his story, but she seems the kind of person that would be easy to talk to. Plus I suppose the spy business being his past life makes it (for lack of a better word) "safer" to talk about. Although they say you never really leave the spy life... Will it come back to haunt him? Image

This Chapter:

Spoiler:
Nice shots with the face paintings! Image Actually I liked the whole montage. Good way to show time passing for everyone. Bit of a nasty shock at the end though with old Lavender. I was happy for Maddie and all she has going for her until I remembered that she's acting kind of selfishly...

Possible typo? Slide 29: "He knew why Maddie wasn't close to his family..."

Okay, sparkles are a bit weird... The look on Gold's face is just perfect, by the way.

Pregnant Hex? Well that was unexpected... Lots of weird things going on in Maddie's hometown (which I totally remember the name of...not.Image). This just keeps getting better and better! Image

Spoiler:
I love the story with Maddie, I wonder if she will ever go home? And also I am a huge fan of Hex and Lavender hopefully they can find a way to combat the aging. Can't wait for the next installment and also Reaper Baby WOOO!

Yay, all caught up now!

Spoiler:
I loved the picture of the first kiss in front of the gravestones. I had to laugh, who plans for their first kiss to be there?

John totally got burned...*reference from Burn Notice*

Aww, I love Hex! Him and Zane are tied for my top non-legacy characters right now. Maybe Zane is Hex's baby daddy? *snicker snort*

Seriously Maddie, now would be a good time to go home, or like let Momma know you're still among the living...

Wow, it took me awhile to get round to responding to these. Again, thanks to everyone who has commented, or read, the Wrongways, it means a lot :)

CrazyJan:
Spoiler:
Thank you! I wasn't sure the simplistic approach would work, but I'm glad it did. Maddie will make sure her kids are very well-behaved, no? :D

I'm pleased to hear that. I'm very grateful to Ani-Mei for letting me use Solan and his eccentric methods!

Thanks for reading!

Katee412:
Spoiler:
Thanks, I'm glad you're happy for the couple. It is sad that Hex can't age alongside Lavender, but it's going to be interesting to write, that's for sure. Thanks for your comment!

Solo:
Spoiler:
It's nice for her to finally use her skills for good. And yes, the kids are all pre-mades! I was staging in the Megahood and needed a bunch of kids for the class, and thought it would be cool to use the pre-mades.

Just a little bit, right?

Thanks. :) I'm glad you liked it.

I like to think she's easy to open up to - possibly her aspiration, popularity. I am enjoying John's past and the repercussions it has on who he is now. And maybe it will come up in future, who knows xD

Spoiler:
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to set up. I needed to pass some time to get to where I wanted to be, including Lavender. I know what you mean - it seems things are going great all round, but it's not quite the case.

Oh man. I must have missed that when I proof-read the chapter.

I'm looking forward to dealing with that in the next chapter. :) Glad you think so, I thought it was quite amusing myself!

I like to do the unexpected :) Maybe it's time Maddie returned home? (The town is Mirage, by the way xD) Glad you think so! Thanks for your reading!

Meialin:
Spoiler:
Glad you're enjoying it! Maddie has been my favourite heir so far, her story is a lot of fun to write. Hex and Lavender seem very popular lately! I'm glad! :) I'm hoping to get another chapter out soon! Thanks for reading!

SimSimity:
Spoiler:
Glad you liked it! It is an odd place for first kisses, but who plans where they are? :D

I'm not familiar with Burn Notice so I'll take your word for it xD

I'm glad you like Hex! :) And wow, having Hex up there with Zane, that really means a lot. Lol @ Zane being Hex's baby daddy xD

Maddie really should get back home, shouldn't she? :)

Thanks for reading!

Nice to see the Wrongways again and your Legacy moving forward.
Spoiler:
Good job on the montage showing how time passed... it was surprisingly effective.

Poor Lavender, I'm pretty ticked at Maddie's selfish disregard for her mother and siblings.

Ooh, what's going on with Gold?

My favorite storyline at the moment is Fiona and Garrett. Maddie can go pound sand. :nea:

I'm finally all caught up! :yahoo: I've been meaning to comment on the Wrongways ever since you commented on my legacy back on the old site, but I didn't want to do it before I finished reading everything. But now that I have, I can say that I love it. :s_thumbsup You really have a knack for surprising your readers; I never know what's going to happen next and I love that, especially since legacies can be kind of predictable. Each generation there's always something new that keeps me coming back and wondering what's going to happen next.

Spoiler:
I have to say, I really love reading about Hex. I feel bad for him - it never seems to be the right time for him to focus on himself and his own family/needs, but can't deny that the drama is great. I feel like he's always falling for the Wrongway heiresses, if only just a little bit, so I wasn't surprised a bit by him and Lavender. I also wasn't surprised - and a bit happy - that Lee kept him from growing old, because honestly, the Wrongways without Hex would be kinda sad. But him being pregnant with the grim's baby? Never saw it coming. I can't wait to see what's in store there. And I second Lorinsv's opinion. I find I like Fiona and Garrett a lot more than Maddie and John. (I've always had a soft spot for Garrett and I can't really stand Desiderata Valley.) I hope to see more of Fiona; I'm just not sure how the two legacies are going to work out through. As for Maddie, I can understand her need to get out of town, but... :s_no Running away just isn't an option in legacies.

Great job and I can't wait for the next update. :clapping:

Spoiler:
I'm so glad Maddie decided to finally get in touch with her family!
What an awkward time to have a baby, Hex... xD I was expecting the baby to be an alien, then I remembered it was Death's >.<
Aww, Romeo's cute!
Poor Hex. Solan's a bit... wild?
Nice chapter! :D

Spoiler:
Bad Solan for moving everyone in without even asking Hexander first...bad godling. *shakes head* Cyrus huh? Did he get the ears? I do love those Reaper spawn, I have one with Nepheline in my Geology OWBC and she's adorabubble. So the next generation is underway huh? You made it past the halfway point, Romeo looks like he'll become a real heartbreaker :D I want to get back to my sims but I can't use my simming computer until nextr week, sister is down in my room with my nephews, taking up my space. I have a few ideas for my generation 8 before I pack them off to college and get closer to generation 9. Wow, can't believe how close that really is now...seems only yesterday I was starting out with Oliver and a blank lot. Time flies with plotz doesn't it?

Sam
Spoiler:
Yeah I'm back finally.
Nice that I didn't miss that much. I was scared it was going to take me forever to catch up. But it didn't. Guess you and I both took breaks around the same time.
Gold is extremely pretty. And she has a lovely name to match. I hope her baby is going to be okay.
Fiona turned out lovely too. It's so sweet of Garrett to try and help her find a voice. Even if they don't succeed it's the thought that counts. Though maybe they'll find one.
And oh tension between the baddies.
Hex pregnant. LOL! Though I do feel bad for him that he didn't get to age up with Lavender, but the legacy still needs him. And yeah Lee leaving a note wasn't the best way to tell him that..though really I guess there wasn't a good way.
*snort* Solan is causing a bit of trouble isn't he? Though not really. It's so good to see more supernaturals in the house again. I'm sure we'll be introduced later.
Maddie and John make such a nice couple. I have to say that I've recently started playing around in the Valley and John has quickly become one of my favorite sims there. Romeo is adorable! I just *pinches cheeks* And there's another Wrongway on the way too. Can't wait to meet him or her.
Hopefully Lavender gets her reunion with Maddie soon so that she can meet the gradnkids. Though I'm guessing that eventually the legacy and Ralph will catch up with her. Hopefully nothing too bad happens though.

I owe lots of responses, and I promise I will get to those, but in the mean time, I've been feeling a little drained, and have decided to take a break from the Wrongways. If you want to know a little bit more, I posted at my livejournal about it, but for now, I'm taking a breather.

I'm in the same situation with Bryn Fwrwm, so I feel your pain and completely understand. Sims 2 is a great storytelling tool, but it is so easy to forget that it is a game as well. You need to give yourself a chance to relax with it. If your heart isn't in it, then the story suffers as well as you.

I'll miss the Wrongways, but it isn't forever I am sure. :-)

I'm glad you understand. :) It's quite easy to get burnt out, isn't it?

I really don't want it to be forever, I just need the time off methinks :)
