This may be a little premature, but the event was in January last time and it's not too far away now...

I really enjoyed the Golden Plumbbobs, and I think other people did too. Will we be doing them again? If so, I think a red carpet screenshot event might be fun, and I'd be willing to help with that.

Honestly, I'd prefer if the event didn't run next year. This year my friends and I were falsely accused of rigging the votes (why we were accused, I'll never know), and we got a lot of negative backlash for it. I'd rather not have a repeat of that.

That being said, if the event does run this year I'll most likely just stay away from it.

That's really unfair Heather, can't believe someone would accuse you like that I'm sure it wouldn't happen again though...or at least, I'd hope it wouldn't.

We really do want it to be an annual thing, since for the most part, it went over well.

If you don't want to be a part of it, we will of course respect your wishes and not have you up and running, although, I will say it is impossible to rig the votes. Also, we are a smaller community now, so perhaps it will go better for you and your friends this year, Heather.

Heather there was some backlash towards you guys - some backlash we looked into and proved the accusations to be completely false. Please don't let last years false allegations keep you from participating again.

I never heard of the supposed vote rigging, who would do such a thing? I thought only mods could control the voting? Did we get some of the down raters here from the BBS?

It was over on Livejournal that the accusations occurred. Heck, not even the mods can control the voting-- all we did was put up who was nominated and people voted for whoever they felt like. If you had friends, then yes, you got votes from them. I was heavily involved in running the event, there is no way somebody can rig the votes so I do hope nobody feels like they can't participate because it is 100% fair. And with all of the categories, everybody has a fair chance.

I don't even know who would ACCUSE a Boolpropian of rigging votes TBH. I thought everyone won fair and square (May not have agreed 100% with all the winners, but I absolutely DON'T consider the votes to be rigged)

Personally, I'd really love to see the Golden Plumbobs return for 2012, presuming the world doesn't end To think, if the world ends I'll have spent my whole life in school!

I am soooo up for another year. I remember last year at this time when I suggested it to Rhea since the Story of the Month was failing. I really love if it was annually. Also if the "Magazine" Rhea's mentioned pics up, it would be perfect as a first issue to do an article on each of the winners, and the blogs/Legacies that won. Anyway that's my opinion - oh and Rhea I'd still would LOVE to be apart of the magazine.

I wasn't around last year for this. Lord only knows where I was. But I'd love to see this happen (again).

Haha, well, there are quite a bit of winners so we'd have to find a way to split it up or just make it one question per winner. But that is a really neat idea...

One or two winners per issue, perhaps? Or only feature winners for certain categories? Interview the "Best Current Sims 3 Legacy" writer, but maybe not the "Coolest Custom Title" winner, for example. (I know that "Coolest Custom Title" won't be a category this year; I wanted an example of something that might not need a whole feature but that wouldn't insult anyone who might end up with a nomination.)

Perhaps just a thank you comment from each winner, just to thank the people that voted for them or something

Well if I'm honest I quite like the idea of an interview, but that's personal opinion.

And if this Boolprop magazine is made, I am most definitely going to become a reader! xD
